No one around for miles as I gasp my very last breath
Crying out for someone to save me, But alas, everyone had forsaken me
I walked my lonely path, Stood up on my two feet long ago
I proclaimed,
“I will triumph alone,
so shall I die alone”
No one to weigh me down
and no one to lift me back up
Born amongst my kin, died amongst my tattered, isolated corpse

just like our ancestors endured
Ravaged population
The people face a new trial
Decadent society
